Since the beginning of the school year, the art students were introduced to the Aesthetics of art. The beginning was an introduction of line and value, and escalated and progressed to a more advance and experimental art class. The students started to become more experimental in the mediums they used. Art students have learned to take risks and even use mixed mediums in their assignments and final art compositions.  We have prepared for our end of the year art show. The students have grown as artists even much more throughout the S.A.S.I.C. school year. Join S.A.S.I.C. and the community opening day, May 20th 2016 at the Movement Gallery. The students will exhibit paintings on canvas using watercolor, acrylics, and spray paint. Stencils on canvas, India Ink and Graphite and Pencil drawing on quality paper.

Advance Art classes created a stencil and spray painted over a watercolor wash on canvas. This is one example that was done by an art student.
Ms. Hernandez lending a hand with a student whom needed help with his grid drawing.

Classes were working on paper mache' and making piƱatas during Fiesta Week.
They then painted and placed  tissue paper around them.

Advance Art will be work in Acrylic and Oil paints.
